The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. They compete in the National Football League (NFL) as part of the American Football Conference (AFC) West division. Lamar Hunt founded the franchise in 1960 as a charter member of the AFL before it merged with the NFL in 1970.
Over their history, the Chiefs have had many successful seasons and notable players such as Len Dawson, Derrick Thomas, Tony Gonzalez, and Patrick Mahomes. Arrowhead Stadium is known for its raucous atmosphere and has been home to some of the loudest crowds ever recorded at an NFL game.
In recent years, under head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes' leadership, they have become one of the most dominant teams in football, winning back-to-back AFC Championships from 2019-2021. With high expectations heading into each season now that they've won Super Bowl LIV against San Francisco on February 2nd, it will be interesting to see how this talented roster performs moving forward!
